At Dean Clean Services Inc. our flood response team is always ready to meet your needs. Whether it’s a small leak or a major flood event we will be there to return your facility, house or business to pre-flood conditions as soon as possible. Immediate response is crucial and Dean Clean Services is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We are fully trained through IICRC in Water Damage Restoration and Applied Microbial Remediation and can identify, inspect and mitigate any further loss. We will remove as much of the water in a liquid state as possible with our portable extractors and truck mounted system. Then through the use of air movers and low grain refrigerant dehumidifiers (LGR’s) we can remove all remaining moisture from the affected areas. All contents and structure will be monitored to ensure no secondary damage occurs. Any materials that need to be removed will be if they are deemed unsalvageable.
A flood can be an overwhelming time of confusion and uncertainty. We can say with confidence that we will put your concerns at ease and work together to quickly bring a level of normalcy back to each individual situation.
We pledge to do work in the most economical and efficient means possible and to follow the standard of care for the water restoration profession developed by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification entitled IICRC S500.
In a Category 1 flood there is usually not a need to remove carpet or under padding.
As long as the water is not there for an excessive amount of time, the affected areas can be dried rapidly and there won’t be a need to replace any materials.
In a Category 2 flood the under padding is removed and disposed of and usually all other materials can be saved. Proper antimicrobials must be employed and everything must be cleaned and dried.
In a Category 3 flood many steps and procedures are required. Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) is used. Various cleaning and decontamination procedures are employed. All highly porous materials are removed, and surfaces are thoroughly cleaned. Also, biocides are applied to control microorganisms.
Our process in a typical job is to identify and correct the source of moisture. Set up a containment chamber, establish a negative Air remover. Removal of contaminated building material. Finally, to thoroughly clean all surfaces.
